The short version

WALRUS does not collect your readings, history, location, or usage data. The only data Phoenix Strategies receives is optional feedback you choose to submit.

01Who we are

Phoenix Strategies LLC provides the WALRUS mobile app and this site. This policy describes how we handle information in the app and on this site.

02What the app does not collect

WALRUS has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, crash reporting SDK, or telemetry. Temperature, pressure, elevation, results, and comparison history are processed and stored on your device. They are not transmitted to Phoenix Strategies or another party. WALRUS does not request device location or collect payment information; App Store payments are handled by Apple.

03Optional feedback

The Send Feedback form is optional. Nothing is sent unless you write feedback and tap Send. When you do, the app sends the feedback text and category; app version and build; iOS version; a general device model; date and time; a newly generated one-time reference code; and any contact address you voluntarily enter. It does not send your readings, history, elevation, location, or a persistent device or user identifier.

Feedback is received through WALRUS’s hosted endpoint and forwarded to a private Discord review channel used by maintainers. Vercel hosts the site and receives the request in transit; Discord hosts the review channel. A maintainer may manually edit feedback to remove private details before sharing an approved item for discussion. Do not include passwords, access keys, customer names, job-site details, or other sensitive information.

Feedback is retained in the relevant review channel unless we delete it after a request. If you want a feedback submission deleted, email us with the contact address you submitted or its reference code. You may decline feedback processing simply by not using the form.

04Website information

This static support site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting providers may process standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the website under their own service terms. We do not use that information to build profiles or track you across services.

05Local storage and deletion

Your app history remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or remove the app. Device backups, if enabled, are controlled by you and Apple under your Apple account and device settings. Phoenix Strategies cannot access or delete local app records.

06Children

WALRUS is a professional tool for qualified HVAC/R technicians and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through feedback, contact us and we will address the request.

07Changes and contact

This privacy notice is intended to describe current product behavior. It does not replace any rights you may have under applicable law.
